Return Policy


  • Non-Defective items must be returned in original, unopened, undamaged, resellable condition (all original packaging seals, stickers, and wraps must still be unbroken). A 15% restocking fee is applied to all returns of non-defective items. Customers have 7 days from the time they receive a non-defective item to request a return.  Please verify compatibility before purchasing, as we cannot accept returns for items you have opened and found to be incompatible.
  • Packages refused by the customer will be restocked with a 20% fee deducted from the refund. Additionally, any other postage charges or fees we incur will also be deducted from the refund.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable under any circumstance.
  • Returns for refund will not be accepted for gift certificates, thermal compound (except for thermal compounds sold and returned in factory sealed packages), tape, adhesives, velcro,  lapping kits, coolants/additives/fluids packaged without a tamper-proof seal, or tubing/sleeving that was cut to a specified length.
  • Defective items (excluding liquid/water cooling products) are returnable for exchange with same product only.  We will not accept requests to substitute a different product for a returned defective item.  Replacement items will be shipped via USPS First Class, USPS Priority Mail, or UPS Ground, whichever is least expensive.
  • Defective Liquid/Water Cooling Products (including but not limited to blocks, pumps, radiators, and reservoirs) must be returned directly to the manufacturer for RMA Replacement. Returns will not be accepted for these items.
  • If you receive a returnable defective item, you will have 30 days from the purchase date to initiate a return. Please contact us for an RMA number and return instructions before sending an item back to us. After 30 days, you must contact the manufacturer for replacement.
  • Items returned to us without an RMA number written clearly on the outside of the box will be refused. We are not responsible for any items lost or damaged during transit when you return them. For this reason, we suggest shipping with UPS or some other shipping provider that requires a signature upon delivery. Should an item be listed by the shipper as delivered but cannot be found, only a Koolertek employee signature will suffice as proof of delivery to us. We also recommend adding shipping insurance to any return so that you are covered if it is lost. All insurance claims on lost/damaged packages being returned to us must be handled by you, the customer/shipper.

If you receive a damaged package:


  • Please keep the original shipping box/container and all packing materials. If these items are disposed of, we will not be able to file a claim with the shipping carrier and replace your damaged item.
  • Pack that damaged item(s) back up in the manner they were received and contact us immediately. Please include detailed information about the damage to the item and to the packaging.
  • Once we have been notified, we will initiate a claim with the shipping carrier. You may be contacted by the shipping carrier regarding inspection or pickup.
  • Once the package has been inspected or picked up, we will ship a replacement to you. If we do not have a replacement item in stock, you will be given the option to wait until we receive the item to ship or receive a refund for the price of the item. We will pay for the shipping of replacement items to our customers.
