Teflon Thread Seal Tape

Overview:

If you're into liquid cooling, then this is GREAT addition to your toolbox. This tape compresses and deforms as the fitting is screwed into place, filling any tiny voids and creating a water-tight seal. Simply wrap a bit of this tape around your fitting's threads and install as normal and you will have extra protection against leaks that could possibly destroy your system. This roll is 1/2" wide and contains 520" of tape, enough to last for years.

Note: Although this product is called "tape", it is non-adhesive and will not making unscrewing your fittings more difficult in the future. It can also be easily removed from threads. When facing the fitting's threads, wrap them clockwise to ensure that the tape is not peeled back as the fitting is screwed into place. Keep a bit of tension on the tape as you wrap so that it is pulled down into the threads. Be sure not to leave extra tape hanging off the end of the fitting, as this could impede the flow of your coolant. If you loosen or uninstall a fitting, remove the old tape and rewrap with a fresh piece before reinstallation.
